Green
Blue used to be my favorite color for the longest time. Then something happened a few years ago and I switched--quite passionately--to green. A teacher once told me, “When you’re green, you grow.”
In this issue--our first ever issue devoted to green--we speak to things associated with this vibrant color: learning, freshness, renewal, growth, the environment, and spring time.
Learn practical ways to conserve energy and to make ecofriendly choices in your everyday life, from the cup you drink out of, to the fuel you feed your car, to the bag you carry your stuff in. Awaken your senses to the magic of green tea and fresh herbs. Roll up your sleeves, dig in your heels, and get down and dirty, whether you hike a trail in New Zealand, traipse the countryside of Vietnam, or landscape your backyard. Be inspired to share sustainable living practices with others, locally and globally.
As a certain influential green figure says, “It’s not easy being green.” Making environmentally conscious choices takes work. I hope each of us will commit to doing our part to respect and maintain this amazing one world that we breathe in.
Go green!
Cheers,
Nguyen Stanton
